Hexagon Quilt Finished

I have finally finished this quilt. I like it lots. There are 297 1 3/4" hexagons hand sewn and it's hand quilted as per usual. It's just right for keeping my feet warm now it's Autumn.

  3. That's a perfect setting for photographing this quilt. The colour of the iron highlights the colour in the quilt beautifully. I just love how the hexies look as though they are floating through the frame - disappearing and coming back into sight again at the edges. Altogether beautiful. A great job.

    1. I think they are a good background project - something you work on every now and then. They are a nice, slow project.

  12. Clearly a labor of love! I'm currently working on a hex quilt using 5" hexagons, and even THAT is taking a long time! Congrats on finishing this beautiful project.
