Red and Blue Baby Quilt

I am quite impressed with my efforts to quilt this one as I do not enjoy machine quilting at all.

The blocks are 12" on the diagonal and my straight-line quilting is 4" apart.

And I found some really 'unexpected' fabric for the binding which I like lots! It is now attached, so I am set up for some hand sewing. If only my splint was one finger over, I would have a built in thimble.

  1. It looks very neat Karyn. I have that fabric you are using for the binding - it's a great colour!

  2. That's my sort of quilting. By the way, sometimes you appear as a no reply blogger when you send me comments, so please don't think I am ignoring you if you haven't had a reply.

  5. Hi Karyn! Looks like a very fun quilt. Too bad about your splint, but I did laugh at your comment.
