Linen and Liberty

This little experiment reminded me how much I really, really dislike quilting!


The front is Essex Linen. Possibly flax, definitely not ivory, but maybe natural. I can't remember. I like it. It has quite a bit of brown in it.


The backing I bought in the 'Arab Quarter', Kampong Glam, Singapore back in April. That part of town is a fabric shopping paradise!


I plan to attach these liberty fabrics to the linen side. I discovered Florence and Mary in Havelock North and bought my liberty fabrics there. They feel very nice!

    You could spend a long time playing with Liberty fabrics - love that backing too. Wish my mum had found that part of Singapore when she was there. Have a fun weekend.
