Six and a half years after making this quilt, it's quilted. Fully quilted. I went back and added an extra row of quilting around each of the semi-circles using an off-white thread. Just for extra stability with the wool batting.

Amazing quilt, another JK quilt off your list? They do tend to take a little more time than one expects, especially if you invest in hand quilting as you did. Well done.

ReplyDeleteThank you. I think hand quilting is more forgiving than machine quilting. Easier to hide the imperfect piecing 😀

ReplyDeleteOh, this quilt is spectacular! 'Tis dancing with beautiful colour and pattern. Love too, the sweet rabbit backing fabric...so fun. A most amazing finish!
