An April Finish
I finished this quilt back in April but didn't photograph it. I took the opportunity to fix that when I was in Hawkes Bay recently, and the opportunity to try out a new lens for my camera. (Hence the dodgy focus and depth of field!)

Second One Block Wonder Finished
This is my second official finish for the quarter. It only needed to be bound and I finally got around to it last weekend using some left over Spotlight cream and tan triangles. I like this one lots. Most fabrics are linen/cotton blends.
As you can see from the blue sky between the trees in the top photo, it's a very sunny and warm Good Friday in Auckland. A very nice start to the school hols.
I am linking this finished quilt and the other one block wonder up to Adrianne's Finish-Along -

A Small Finish
I got the red and blue baby quilt finished last weekend and gifted it today.
I do like it but it was an easy one to gift. Lately, I have found I make quilts and then like them too much to give away so have to make another one to actually gift.

First Finish for the Quarter
It's only taken about 4 weeks to get this quilt bound. However, it is now done and is my first finish for the quarter.
Generally, I am not a fan of pieced backs, but I didn't want to buy any more fabric so pieced the back for this one. And I don't mind it.
Carol Fearon did the quilting. Here is the maths if you want to make a one-block-wonder quilt of your own.
I had some trees cut down two weeks ago so probably all of my quilt photos from now on will be on the string I nailed to the garden shed! The remaining trees are either too close together, too far apart, too round, or the 'forest' is too dark for decent pics.
