From Washington to NZ via Bolivia

Way back at the end of May I ordered fabric from a shop in Washington - the state not the capital. It arrived last week 9 weeks after ordering.

Not sure how US Mail got New Zealand mixed up with Bolivia.

 In the meatime, more fabric was re-sent from Washington (for free) and that arrived 10 days after posting.

Treasure from the Hospice Shop

I dropped off a few bags of clothes, etc at the local hospice shop yesterday afternoon. Last time I was there I bought a lovely old hand-embroidered table cloth for a big $6, so yesterday I headed to the linen shelf and found this treasure.

It's had a wool hand wash and a bask in the sunshine. All ready to use. It measures about 1.2 x 1.5 metres. Cost me $20. And I like it.

Pretty Things

Might go shopping at Bed Bath and Table - check out these pretty Easter themed things. I am not a themey celebrationy person, but some of pretty these things can be used year round.

Easter is still miles and miles away.

Even worse, Creme Eggs this year are gross. I think they are now made in Australia.
