Two Finished Quilts

This finished quilt measures about 102cm x 112cm, or 40" x 44" in old money. I used Jenean Morrison's Silent Cinema. The binding and the backing come from Spotlight. It's hand-quilted with a wool batting. The pattern is Sparkle Punch by Elizabeth Hartman. If the mark comes out, it will go to a good home. If it doesn't ... I'll be annoyed.

This finished quilt is for my niece Lucy. It's also by Elizabeth Hartman from her book Modern Patchwork. It's called Neighbourhood. It's made from fabric that I already had in my stash apart from the critters in the windows which came from Spotlight. The binding is from 1995 according to the selvedge - it's from some fabric my Gran's cousin gave me a few years ago. The backing is also from Spotlight - a Denyse Schmidt print. It's also hand-quilted with a wool batting. This one measures 108cm x 144 cm (42" x 56").
