Finally, finally The Circle Game

Six and a half years after making this quilt, it's quilted. Fully quilted. I went back and added an extra row of quilting around each of the semi-circles using an off-white thread. Just for extra stability with the wool batting.


The background came from Spotlight. Surprisingly. It's one of their Cloud 9 fabrics. I chose it because my mum hates rabbits digging in her garden!

  1. Amazing quilt, another JK quilt off your list? They do tend to take a little more time than one expects, especially if you invest in hand quilting as you did. Well done.

    1. Just two quilts left on my WIP page now. I don’t think I would commit to such a project now. I like faster finishes 😉

    1. Thank you. I think hand quilting is more forgiving than machine quilting. Easier to hide the imperfect piecing 😀

  4. Oh, this quilt is spectacular! 'Tis dancing with beautiful colour and pattern. Love too, the sweet rabbit backing fabric...so fun. A most amazing finish!
