I am not going to make another HST quilt for a while. I really like the look of HSTs, but two quilts in a row is a bit much - all those little tails that need trimming!
I have two thirds of the top of this one made. It is not going to be ready for the baby shower tomorrow afternoon. But it will be done by the time the baby is due in five more weeks.
So cute - love the elephants!
ReplyDeleteMe too. I used them in a teal and orange HST quilt and had to order more.
DeleteIt's gorgeous, but I am not suprised you need a break from HST if you did two quilts in a row ! ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely, I love the colours!
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is going to be so cute. I am working on putting together a top of bee blocks that I have had sitting in a box for a long time and each of those blocks has 32 HST in it. It's a lot of HST but the end result is always so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI totally know what you mean! But it is worth the work because your quilt is looking great!
ReplyDeleteWonderful. Love the fabrics. HST make great looking projects.
ReplyDeleteOh, this quilt is going to be stunning!
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a lovely quilt. Love the pop of red! So cute! Btw, what color gray is that?
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI know the grey is an RJR Solid, but I don't know it's official name or number. Looking on the RJR website I'd say it's 155 or 283.
This is going to be a fabulous quilt, lovely colours
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I love the pop of red!
